KATHLEEN M. ABBOTT

President Environment, Arcadis

Kathleen Abbott, P.G., is the President of Arcadis’ U.S. Environment Business line. She leads a team of more than 2,700 professionals dedicated to helping clients in both public and private sectors maximize limited resources, mitigate environmental impacts and build a sustainable future for the people they serve.

 

Previously, Kathleen served as Executive Vice President and Director of Client Development and Technical Solutions for the Environment Business Line. In this role, she developed a strategy concentrated on investing in client focus, harnessing technical and digital innovation, and fostering a people-first culture. Kathleen began her career with Arcadis as a field geologist, developing a passion for working closely with clients in roles in the power and utilities and oil and gas market sectors. She chairs the Bellevue Foundation, representing Arcadis employees at the highest level of corporate governance.

 

Kathleen holds a B.A. in Geology from Macalester College and a M.A. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Washington University (St. Louis). She is based in San Rafael, California.

JESSICA BARCLAY

Jessica Zofnass Barclay is a Managing Partner of the Environmental Financial Consulting Group (EFCG). EFCG is the leading advisor to architecture, engineering, and construction firms and leverages its 30 years of proprietary industry research and data to provide differentiated M&A advisory expertise, financial and strategic consulting, and executive conferences.

 

Jessica leads the firm’s M&A team, working with clients on ownership transitions, recapitalizations, inorganic growth strategies, and preparing firms for a sale.

 

Prior to joining EFCG, Jessica spent a decade in finance working with institutions, family offices, and private equity firms through her roles at Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and Black Creek Group.

 

Jessica received her MBA with Distinction from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where she was named an Edward Tuck Scholar, and graduated with Honors from Harvard University, where she rowed for the Women’s Varsity Crew Team for four years.

MARTIN BAXTER

Director of Policy and External Affairs & Deputy CEO, The Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA)

Martin Baxter leads on IEMA's policy and external engagement activity. He works in the UK, and internationally, to support the transition to a low carbon, resource efficient, and sustainable economy.

 

Martin is a regular media spokesperson on a range of business sustainability topic areas. He has extensive experience of networking and communicating at all levels, including with senior parliamentarians, Government officials, business leaders, and academia.

 

Martin has national and international experience in developing and negotiating global and European standards and developing capacity for effective and widespread implementation. He is chair of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) sub-committee on environmental management systems and head of the UK delegation. Martin is a board member of IEMA and also the Society for the Environment (SocEnv). He is a Fellow of IEMA and the RSA, and a Chartered Environmentalist.

ADRIAN BLISS

Environment and Sustainability Account Leader, Mott MacDonald

Adrian Bliss is Mott MacDonald’s Environment and Sustainability Account Leader for International Development, based in Washington DC.  With over 23 years of experience in the sectors, Adrian has developed unrivalled expertise in sustainable policy and technical guidance development, as well as the application of international ESG standards, particularly World Bank/IFC. He has a wide range of experience leading projects for international organisations and is currently leading environmental inputs into US donor programs in Eastern Europe. As an experienced environmental business leader, he thrives on building enduring relationships with clients, and delivering large, complex and challenging ESG projects in an international arena. As a regional sustainability lead Adrian plays an integral role in delivering on Mott MacDonald’s ambitious sustainability commitments including net zero carbon by 2040 and the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals into all our projects.

ANDRE-MARTIN BOUCHARD

Global Director Earth & Environment & Global Executive Director ESG

André-Martin Bouchard has approximately 25 years experience in the environmental industry. He currently holds the position of Global Director, Environment & Resources and Global Corporate Director, ESG at WSP Global. Since joining WSP in 2006, Mr. Bouchard has played a key role in growing the Canadian Environment sector to a Top 3 position. Over the years, he held various positions in Canada, serving most recently as Executive Vice President Environment and being a member of the Canadian Leadership Team.

Before joining WSP, Mr. Bouchard was the Founder and CEO of Strate Environment. In the 1990s Mr. Bouchard held different positions in the hazardous waste and contaminated land Industry. Mr. Bouchard is a Professional Environmental Engineer who holds a Bachelor in Civil Engineering, option Environment, from Polytechnique Montréal.

LYNSEY CLARKE

Global Technology Leader: Sustainability & Climate Action & Divisional Director of Sustainability, Jacobs

Lynsey is a Director of Sustainability at Jacobs, where she focuses on growth and sales for our climate change, sustainability and environment and consenting business. Lynsey is also supporting clients to address their challenges on sustainability and decarbonisation strategy, benchmarking, assurance, and broader carbon and climate change services. This includes focus on engagement and communications, organisational behaviours, coaching and capacity building support. Lynsey’s role also extends to supporting the implementation of Jacobs’ own sustainability strategy: PlanBeyond and recently published Climate Action Plan within Jacobs’ European business and its project partnerships and delivery.

Paul Dondos, Managing Director, Equiteq.

PAUL DONDOS

Managing Director, Equiteq

Paul Dondos is a Managing Director, based in our London office, where he leads Equiteq’s buy-side, market intelligence and strategic advisory practices globally.

 

Paul brings vast experience across corporate finance and corporate development, including positions at Salomon Smith Barney in New York and London; a European internet incubator in the dot com boom era; and a global engineering consulting firm. Paul also spent eight years building and operating his own business in Brazil before joining Equiteq in 2017. Paul quickly established Equiteq’s global buy-side practice, which, with its experienced, dedicated team, industry-leading processes, and enviable client roster, is the leading M&A origination service in the Knowledge Economy. 

 

Paul is also regularly published in webinars and market intelligence reports, and takes on advisory roles in the value creation journeys for Equiteqs’ long-term M&A clients. 

 

Outside of work, Paul loves literature (in which he holds a degree), has two children and is a fluent Portuguese speaker.

JOSEPH J. FLUDER III

CEO, President & Director, SWCA Environmental Consultants

As SWCA's Chief Executive Officer and President, Joseph is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team to promote the company North Start and Core Values while developing long-range business goals and strategies that result in an amazing culture and strong performance and growth. Joseph joined SWCA in early 2003 as a water resources and GIS specialist in the company's Albuquerque office. Since that time, he's held a variety of technical and leadership positions, previously serving as Chief Operating Officer from 201147-2017. In addition to having extensive experience in project management and business development, Joseph has a strong background in human-induced environmental change, particularly in riparian, grassland, and forested areas. He also is an expert in the National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, watershed management, and habitat restoration. He holds a bachelor's degree in environmental geography from Illinois State University and a master's degree in geography from the University of New Mexico. He taught geography, GIS, and earth science courses at the University of New Mexico (2000-2005) and spent time working in the trucking industry in Chicago.

DR ANDREAS GEORGOULIAS

Director of Sustainability and Risk, The Environmental Financial Consulting Group (EFCG)

Andreas leads EFCG’s Sustainability Advisory Practice, and is a main point of contact for EFCG’s international clients. He brings more than 20 years of experience in advising A/E/C firms, public and private owners of infrastructure, as well as commercial lenders and multilateral development banks. He has worked on projects across 15 countries. 

 

Andreas is a recognized voice in the sustainability field, as he was instrumental in creating the Envision Rating System for Sustainable Infrastructure, now widely deployed in the US and across the world. He has completed sustainability / ESG assessments for over $16 billion worth of infrastructure assets, advised both publicly traded and privately held A/E/C firms on their ESG strategy and reporting, and helped establish a new Climate Change Division at a major multilateral development bank. He has published three books on sustainability, serves his second term on the Envision Review Board of the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, and is a Senior Advisor to the Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure at Harvard University.

 

Andreas holds a Masters and PhD from Harvard University, where he also taught as a member of the faculty for eight years, and has a professional diploma in architecture engineering from the University of Athens. He lives in Athens, Greece, with his wife Zoe, a maritime lawyer, and their young daughter.

CHRIS GERRARD

Catchment & Biodiversity Manager, Anglian Water & Governing Board Member, Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management

Chris Gerrard is Anglian Water’s Catchment and Biodiversity Manager. He leads a team that delivers the company’s strategy to help reverse biodiversity loss in the region, as well as a team of catchment management specialists who engage with the agriculture sector to manage water quality risks. Prior to that he was Director of Living Landscapes for the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. He was also the Project Manager of the Great Fen Project, a leading landscape-scale conservation project between Huntingdon and Peterborough. Chris is a Chartered Environmentalist, has an honours degree in Environmental Science, a Professional Diploma in Management and is a board member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.

ROSS GRIFFITHS

Content Director, Environment Analyst

Ross joined Environment Analyst as an intern following the global financial crisis in 2011. During his decade at the company he has held a number of operational and management positions supporting the newsroom, events programme and market intelligence service. He has been the author of the UK Market Assessment Report for the last six years. 

 

In his current role as Content Director, Ross is responsible for the ongoing management and curation of industry-leading content to serve our ever-expanding membership community within the environmental professional services sector across the globe. He leads a team of writers and analysts and inputs regularly into our virtual events programme.

 

Prior to joining Environment Analyst Ross graduated from Swansea University, UK with a BSc in geography and a MSc in environmental dynamics and climate change.

RIAD HABIB

Senior Vice President & Energy Managing Director, AECOM

Riad’s tenure at AECOM spans over 18 years, and has held a combination of operational and business development roles within the organization supporting private, state and Federal clients. 

 

In his current role as the  Managing Director of the Americas Energy Practice at AECOM, Riad leads an Energy team ranging from engineers, project and construction managers, project controls and project development staff.  The AECOM team is focused on delivering Energy solutions for a variety of markets including T&D, renewable generation and energy efficiency with the mission of driving the necessary energy transformation needed in today’s environment.  This transformation is being led by developing innovative, socially beneficial and green solutions while ensuring the necessary resources and skillsets are in place.

REBECCA HEALEY

Co-Chair EMEA Regional Committee, EMEA Regulatory Subcommittee & ESG Working Group, FIX Trading Community

Rebecca is considered to be a leading industry voice on market structure, regulatory reform, and financial services technology. Writing research over the last decade, Rebecca has authored a plethora of qualitative reports and commentaries covering the impact of market regulation on all asset classes, the impact of the rise of fintech in capital markets, as well as the impact of the move to ESG and sustainability in asset management; focusing on how technology can help address current challenges, improving capital markets both for participants and investors.

 

Widely quoted in the financial, business and trade media, she has appeared on TV and radio discussing ongoing changes in capital markets such as the Financial Times, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, The Times, DeTelegraaf, Die Welt, Le Monde, Les Echos, CNBC TV, BBC and Bloomberg, among others. She has contributed to regulatory policy participating in a wide number of roundtables in the UK and Europe including providing evidence for the UK House of Lords review into electronic trading and is a member of ESMA’s Secondary Markets Standing Committee.

 

Prior to writing research since 2011, Rebecca held various positions at Bankers Trust, Goldman Sachs, and Credit Suisse, where she was instrumental in launching the successful AES product from its inception in 2002. She was the first electronic trader at Credit Suisse to be registered for all electronic European cash equity markets.  During this time Rebecca also set up Positive Risk, a forerunner of initiatives to educate women in financial planning.  Rebecca was based in the Middle East from 2008 to 2010, where she was employed by the British Embassy in Bahrain, successfully launching the UK Government’s financial services strategy in Bahrain. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Spanish & Latin American History & Politics from the University of London.

DR VICKY HUTCHINSON

Environment Practice Director, Infrastructure, ‎ Atkins 

Dr Vicky Hutchinson is Director of the Environment Practice within Atkins. She brings together 550 environmentalists, economists and social scientists to respond to challenges ranging from tackling the climate emergency and delivering a low carbon future, to looking beyond apprenticeships to understand how social value is created through buildings, infrastructure and the green spaces between them. She was previously Head of Social Value at ISG.  She has developed and implemented social value strategies for clients and contractors, working at a senior level to develop strategy, procedures, targets and measurement protocols across business units. She has worked closely with local authority clients to design and deliver Social Value programmes for both public sector frameworks and at a project level, and has worked in partnership with peers across the sector to maximise the socio-economic outcomes of infrastructure and construction activity.

LISA KAY

Chief Operating Officer EHS, NV5

Lisa Kay is Chief Operating Officer of Environmental Health Sciences Vertical at NV5 where she leads a team of high-performing environmental, health, and safety consultants with the mission of delivering solutions and improving lives. NV5 is a provider of compliance, technology, and engineering consulting solutions for public and private sector clients supporting infrastructure, utility, and building assets and systems. The company primarily focuses on six business verticals: environmental health sciences, testing, inspection & consulting, infrastructure engineering, utility services, buildings & program management, and geospatial technology services. NV5 operates out of more than 100 offices nationwide and abroad.  

 

Lisa has spent much of her 30-year career in leadership roles with environmental firms. She successfully grew three environmental firms which led to their acquisition. Lisa joined NV5 in 2019 through the acquisition of her environmental firm.

TOM LOGAN

President & Chief Operating Officer, Golder

Mr. Logan has over 30 years of progressive management experience with diverse, engineering and consulting businesses, with an emphasis in the Earth & Environment business line. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Golder (USD 1.2B per annum), and has held prior senior executive roles in AMEC Foster Wheeler, URS and Dames & Moore.

 

As COO for Golder, he oversaw the global operations of Golder including strategic and financial planning, risk management, client relationship management, revenues, profitability, project delivery and governance. He has over four decades of professional engineering experience providing consultation and oversight on complex civil and environmental projects for the transportation, oil & gas, mining, power, manufacturing, commercial, waste and government sectors. He has served as Engineer of Record on hundreds of projects and is often called upon by clients to be a forensic expert. His project experience spans the globe, having worked in more than 20 countries throughout his career.

 

In his role as Global Director of Integration, Mr. Logan will oversee the successful joining of the Golder organization to WSP, with operations in 30 countries around the globe.

GABRIEL MALEK

 Investor Influence Coordinator, Environmental Defense Fund

Gabe is Investor Influence Coordinator at the Environmental Defense Fund, working with
stakeholders across the financial services industry ― including banks, asset managers, asset
owners, and private equity firms ― to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions economy-wide
by 2050. He focuses specifically on decarbonization in the oil and gas and transportation sectors,
the intersection of financial regulation and climate policy, and climate-alignment in the 401(k)
market. Gabe was named to the Socially Responsible Investing 30 Under 30 list in 2019 and has
contributed to thought leadership on sustainable finance with the United Nations Environmental
Programme, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, and the Intentional Endowments
Network, among others. Gabe graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Yale
University.

JOSE REVUELTA

Chief Strategy Officer, Montrose Environmental Group Inc

Jose Revuelta is Chief Strategy Officer of Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. and part of the founding team. In this capacity, he oversees all the firm’s partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, and new initiatives. Mr. Revuelta brings significant leadership and management experience to the Company. Previously, Mr. Revuelta was a Vice President with the Infrastructure and Private Equity business of UBS Global Asset Management, where he focused on the energy, utility, transportation, and environmental sectors. In this capacity, Mr. Revuelta helped oversee a $10bn portfolio and was responsible for Finance and Tax oversight for all US holding entities.

Mr. Revuelta was on the Board of Northern Star Generation, a US IPP with 1,412MW of gas and waste-coal power plants, where he helped lead re-financings and commodity hedges valued at over $1bn. Prior to his role at UBS Global Asset Management, Mr. Revuelta was a member of the Infrastructure Group in the Investment Banking division of UBS. Mr. Revuelta received his MBA from the Columbia Business School, Columbia University, and a MS/BS in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain.

CRAIG RILEY

Executive Advisor - ESG, Climate Change & Strategic Sustainability, GHD

Craig Riley is an executive advisor with over 20 years of experience in environmental and sustainability management consulting.  His work with clients has included ESG strategy, program development, and disclosure, sustainability assessments, climate and energy action planning, and other corporate  ESG services. He has led engagements with consultant and in-house teams, ranging from strategic planning to sustainable infrastructure and worked across multiple sectors, from Fortune 250 companies to transportation. In addition to degrees in Environmental Science and Chemistry, Craig has an MBA with a concentration in sustainable enterprise, is a credentialed LEED AP and has certification in the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Prior to joining GHD’s Advisory business, Craig led a sustainability practice for a global professional services business. He has played pivotal roles in the development, assessment, and strategic planning of ESG and sustainability programs and initiatives for his clients, prioritizing value and insight over black box or check-the-box approaches to sustainability.

ANN ROSENBERG

Senior Vice President for Sustainable Development, Wood

A Denmark native, but a global citizen based in New York, Ann has 25 years of experience in the corporate world working with sustainability and purpose. In 2020 she co-founded and launched the SDG Ambition in partnership with the United Nations Global Compact, an initiative which challenges and supports companies in being more strategic and transformative, and to rethink their business operations to improve their ESG performance aligning to the UN SDGs. 

 

Ann is also a WEF advisor on the Climate Governance Initiative and has dedicated her life to serving as a trailblazer for the UN SDGs.

FREDRICK ROYAN

Vice President, Global Environment Practice, Frost & Sullivan

Fredrick has been analysing the global water market for over 15 years and is the Global Leader and Vice President of the Sustainability and Circular Economy practise at Frost & Sullivan. He led the launch of the Smart Water Program in 2010 and has since focused on shaping the Global Water Research Program around digital transformation and together with his team of analysts has published authoritative reports on Smart Water Grid and related segments. He has a Masters in Environmental Protection and Management from the University of Edinburgh secured as a Shell Centenary Chevening Scholar and has also been conferred the Frost & Sullivan Fellowship.

FRANK SWEET

Global Business Line Chief Executive for Environment, AECOM

Frank is the Chief Executive of the Environment Global Business Line, with more than 7,500 scientists, engineers and support staff serving clients globally. The business provides a full range of environmental and energy consulting, engineering and field services.

Mr. Sweet was appointed to lead the Environment Global Business Line in October 2020 and has been leading the integration of the Environment Business Line in the Americas since August 2018.  

Mr. Sweet has held a series of operational and corporate roles including his most recent role leading Delivery Excellence which established the company’s project management systems, training and technical quality programs. Previously he was responsible for AECOM’s Northeast Region of the Americas. 

Prior to joining AECOM, Mr. Sweet led ENSR’s Environment Business in the Americas.

As BST Global's Director of Knowledge Management, Hank leads a team in delivering business intelligence, big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and documenting management product solutions. 

 

Hank joined BST Global in early 2019 and has 30+ years of extensive experience in building large-scale distributed systems and analytics solutions, IT consulting, SaaS software delivery, systems merger and acquisition, modeling and simulation, business process improvement, and client management spanning multiple industries including Healthcare, Finanical Services, Department of Defense, Transportation and Telecommunications.

 

Hank has held various leadership roles at IBM, Motorola, AT&T, Dell and Unisys.

Liz Trew, co-founder and director of Environment Analyst, leads the Environment Analyst Global market intelligence service. She is a respected commentator on the environmental sector, with particular expertise in the consultancy market having researched and authored reports and briefings on the sector for two decades. Before Environment Analyst, Liz was an analyst at ENDS, the environmental business publisher.

DR ADRIAN WILLIAMS

Managing Director, APEM

Adrian is Managing Director of APEM Ltd, a global environmental consultancy. Joining APEM in 2002, Adrian helped grow APEM and led a PE backed management buyout in 2019. APEM continues to grow strongly and now employs c.200 passionate scientists and technical experts who provide independent advice and guidance across Marine, Freshwater, Terrestrial and Geospatial disciplines.

Adrian is an Aquatic Ecologist with an academic background. He has published numerous papers for international peer reviewed journals and contributed book chapters on eutrophication and lake restoration. He has provided scientific advice to the Species Survival Commission of The World Conservation Union (IUCN) and was a committee member for the Institute of Fisheries Management (IFM) and the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).

Adrian is a keen walker and likes nothing more than heading to the hills with his partner and two children (moaning aside) at the weekends. When not on a hillside he also helps coach a junior rugby team.
